My cats love these toys. I bought both large and small size. The small size ends up being less than 8 inches when they fill it. I think it is more like 6 inches out of the box.

I am ordering two large cat hemp tails for our senior kitties as these are their favorite toys. I ordered two catnip pillows (long) from a charity.org but two weeks later they are ignoring them. I have to order them about every six months since they play and lick them so much. Our kitties will be very happy this Christmas.

I feel safe leaving these toys around the house. One of our cats particularly loves them and has a great time biting, kicking, and shaking the toy, rubbing it on his face, and then resting his cheek or chest on it to nap. A big hit!

I have a 19 1/2 year old cat who found this toy as soon as the box was delivered. I had to open the box and give it to her right away!! What fun she has had playing with it and considering her age, she has become more active. I had to hide the other two I bought for her in plastics bags cause she found them too. Great product and I'm delighted with my first purchase.

Our cats have always liked catnip cigars. Because the shorter variety of cigar was out of stock, we ordered the foot-long ones. Although the cats have enjoyed playing with them, we think that the cigars should have been more tightly packed with catnip so that they would retain some degree of rigidity instead of collapsing in the middle when the catnip gets redistributed to the ends.

I can't say enough about these. My 3 cats just love them to death. I love to watch them toss these in the air and do sneak attacks with them. They last a long time and have never fallen apart.

We bought these as gifts for the kitty 'cousins', and our cats found these and dragged them around the house still in the packaging. We had to apologize to the recipients for the slightly worn condition and are now ordering more.
We grow our own catnip and this is one of the few toys that rises to the level of home-grown.
