my 16 year old cat had a very serious case of pancreatitis and massive internal infection that was so painful that she refused to eat and her liver started shutting down (fatty liver disease)...had an esophogeal feeding tube for a month before she kicked it and started eating on her own. The damage done to her pancreas left her with a challenge to digest her cat food causing vomiting, diarrhea and if we were lucky just general belly upset. As long as she ingests some of this with each meal she is completely fine! Can hardly believe the difference if she gets into our other cat's food without it...vet advised putting her down initially and we have her normal feisty self back and this product keeps her healthy! If your animal has pancreatitis - giving this daily is your best friend! we crush it up and mix into food we know she eats and it's saved her!

I put the tablet in her meals because I can not get her to eat them by themselves before meals as directed. I also am disappointed that I need to grind them and mix them in food. Don't know if it's made a significant difference. I will continue to use them and see where it goes.

I tried this stuff while my newest dog was still sick and we were trying to figure out what was wrong with him. Unfortunately it turned out to be EPI, and while this stuff did help a little, it wasn't strong enough for him. The fact that it DID help some is impressive though, considering it was being administered to a dog who's pancreas was mostly atrophied. For those with normal animals, I'd recommend it as a digestion aid, but for more serious problems you'll definitely need something more powerful.

this product works well but the directions have to be followed. I have been giving it to my dog for over two weeks and it seems to help her overall digestion. she has not had a bad reaction to it and I give her half a pill with her food at night. She is a cocker with a yeast infection and this is helping me treat it.

My large dog (115 lbs) had gas and loose stools constantly. I tried all different types of food and finally found that the best tolerated was Nutro Holistic Ultra, but he was still gassy. Now he gets one Biozyme tablet with every meal. I just drop it on his kibble and he eats it right up. No more gas.

My 10 year old male tabby cat was diagnosed with pancreatitis. He was vomitting every day and went from 15 lbs down to 10 lbs. The vet wanted to put him on pregnazone. I was leary about this due to the side effects which this medication has. I therefore researched and tried several natural products. Bio-zyme was the only product which worked. My cat has not vomited since he has been on it and has gained almost all of his weight back. He has lots of energy too. I administer 1/2 pill with each feeding and use the pill pockets. He loves them. It could not be any easier. I would recommend buying a pill cutter to cut the tablets in half.

I've been a vet tech for 14 yrs and this product is great.
My great dane puppy has pancreatic insuffiency. Since she's a growing dane puppy and her food has been increased, we have found that it works better now to crush the pill and feed with a small amount of food before she gets the rest of her food.
She gets Bio Zyme with each meal and by the 2nd day, she had normal stool. She's been on it for 3 weeks now and has gained 15 lbs already. She's still thin but usually dogs with this problem never fully gain the right amount of weight. She was a walking skeleton before and looks so much better now. She's happy too.

I bought this for my 65# pit bull b/c it indicates that using it between meals with a snack may help with overexertion and muscle repair, etc. It says to give 1 pill daily for a 50# dog, but I did that for 3 days and my dog got diarrhea. It subsided right away, and then I administered just 1/2 pill each day and he seems to tolerate it, but not sure if the 1/2 dose will be enough to help him.
