About Nature's Logic

Nature’s Logic has distinguished itself from all other natural pet foods by excluding all chemically synthesized vitamins, minerals or trace nutrients from all of its product categories. With its special ingredient selection and formulas, Nature’s Logic not only meets, but exceeds almost every minimum requirement for amino acids, vitamins, and minerals listed in The Association of American Feed Control Official’s (AAFCO) Nutrient Profile for Dogs and Cats.

There is virtually no danger of overdose of vitamins and minerals when these nutrients are derived solely from all natural whole foods. Nature’s Logic has carefully chosen special food ingredients that supply needed vitamins and minerals solely from nutritious meats, poultry, fish, eggs, and numerous concentrates of fruits and vegetables. By doing this, Nature’s Logic diets exceed all AAFCO recommended minimums on amino acids and exceed almost all recommended minimums on vitamins and minerals. Nature’s Logic contains only 100% natural food ingredients with no chemically synthesized vitamins or minerals. In nature, dogs and cats are meat eating predators, what scientists call carnivores. When wild dogs or cats consume their prey they eat the entire animal, including hair, bones, entrails, blood, stomach contents, etc. Their prey is often herbivores, or plant eating animals. Predators obtain essential trace nutrients available only from plants by consuming the stomach and intestinal contents, which are partially digested plant materials, of their prey. Cats are “obligate carnivores,” which means their diet must be made up primarily of meat. Nevertheless, even these meat eating animals still obtain essential nutrients from small amounts of plant derived foods. Nature’s Logic pet foods are formulated in a similar way. They are primarily made up of meats and other animal-derived products, but they contain small amounts of selected high quality plant products that provide essential and natural nutrition without the addition of chemically synthesized nutrients. Carnivores in the wild are never exposed to chemically synthesized vitamins, minerals, or trace nutrients. Nature’s Logic is formulated the way a truly natural diet should be, which is the logic behind Nature’s Logic pet foods.

Nature’s Logic sources for natural vitamin and mineral supplementation which have required minimums listed in the AAFCO Nutrient Profiles for Dogs and Cats. Chemically synthesized mineral and vitamin forms have long been used in the feed industry to correct deficiencies in diet formulations, but not without risk. This practice is much cheaper than using enough quality ingredients to provide ample nutrient levels. The National Research Council reports on “Mineral Tolerance of Domestic Animals” and “Vitamin Tolerance of Domestic Animals” state that the main emphasis for the reports is the potential adverse effects of chemically synthesized minerals and vitamins on animals. In the body of the reports it is stated how the toxicity of many chemically synthesized minerals and vitamins has been known for many decades with known toxicity in humans as well as many animals including cats and dogs.

Nature’s Logic is committed to providing diets that include only 100% natural ingredients which provide needed nutrients, including vitamins and minerals from food sources only. Nature’s Logic diets exceed all AAFCO nutrient profile minimums using 100% natural food ingredients on the following minerals and vitamins listed in the AAFCO Nutrient Profile for Dogs and Cats: Calcium, Phosphorus, Sodium, Chloride, Magnesium, Iron, Copper, Manganese, Iodine, Selenium, Vitamin A, Vitamin K, Thiamine, Riboflavin, Pantothenic Acid, Niacin, Folic Acid, Biotin, and Vitamin B12.

A portion of the proceeds from your purchase of Nature's Logic products is donated to the organization, Feed Them Right Institute. Feed Them Right Institute is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to research on proper feeding of companion dogs and cats for optimal health and longevity. Comments about Nature's Logic Canned Cat Food:

I am grateful for this rabbit food. My sun room--outside female huntress kills and eats bunnies by instinct.
This greatly upsets me, but I have "domesticated" formerly wild animals so I pay the consequences. I cannot allow her inside.
My 17 year-old Bengal has the worst allergy dermatitis itch. I am delighted to report that he is scratching less than ever observed!
Less regurgitation than with previously purchased foods.
Great results as long as I can afford to purchase it for the five hungry mouths.

I bought this for my mom's cats (3 of them) and none of them would eat it. She gave it to me for my cats, (2 of them) and neither of mine would eat it either. Back to looking for something healthy for them that they will eat.

No chemically synthesized vitamins or minerals, grain free, and high quality. Great diet for my cat prone to struvite and for my cats prone to allergies. Dog and cat canned diets are also completely interchangeable, but both animals get complete and balanced nutrition.

        My Cat Loves This Food!

Comments about Nature's Logic Canned Cat Food:

My cat absolutely loves this food. She is a 3-year-old Bengal, and only gets natural, grain-free food. This brand is by far her favorite. Normally, she'll graze for about an hour when I put her breakfast or dinner dish down. But with this brand, she eats it all up in less than a minute! It also smells a lot more like "people" food than other cat food, in my opinion. My husband even joked that the two of us could eat the Nature's Logic if there was ever a disaster and we needed food. :-)

Comments about Nature's Logic Canned Cat Food:

Cats loved the food and their fur was really shiney. Unfortunately, my cats have a protein allergy. We were trying this food because of the duck and salmon proteins (they are unusual). Anyway, they ended up with sores (allergic reaction). I strongly recommend for cats without allergies.

Comments about Nature's Logic Canned Cat Food:

The cats LOVE the dry food. They started out really liking the canned Duck and Salmon, but I think they started getting bored with just one flavor. Adding a few bits of dry renewed their interest. Both cats are as soft as kittens now, and my tubby Tomcat is losing weight at a better pace with this food, and is far more active than he's been in years. Compared to other petfoods, the smell is 200% nicer, it actually smells like food.
