For cats and dogs.

Pronounced "thoo'-yuh," Thuja occidentalis is derived from the northern white cedar, Arbor vitae, which means "Tree of Life." Thuja is the primary vaccinosis (adverse reaction to a vaccination) remedy for cats and dogs. If you must have your pet vaccinated, it is a good idea to give a dose of Thuja within two hours following the injection. Thuja can also be helpful in case of immediate vaccine reactions such as vomiting or diarrhea occurring within a few hours of the shot. If you miss the immediate window of opportunity, however, don't worry - Thuja homeopathic remedy can be administered at any time following vaccinations.

Thuja can be helpful to resolve ongoing symptoms of vaccinosis, which may result in a wide array of immediate symptoms like fatigue, muscle pain, weakness, fever, etc., following administration of a vaccine, as well as carry long term effects that may appear weeks or months after your pet is vaccinated. Long term effects of over-vaccination include skin eruptions at the vaccine site, skin and respiratory allergic symptoms, respiratory infections, digestive issues, and even arthritis. For more information on the topic of vaccination and the risks associated with over-vaccination, please see our article, The Truth About Vaccinations, in our Holistic Healthcare Library.

Thuja is also helpful for symptoms of disorders that affect the skin, including warts, rashes, eruptions, cysts, and tumors. Other major body systems that may be benefited by Thuja are the gastrointestinal system (it is excellent for "sputtery" diarrhea) and the urinary tract (some cases of chronic cystitis may be helped by this remedy).

Thuja is available in a 1 oz liquid, 125 pellets and 500 pellets.

Comments about Newton Homeopathics Thuja:

I got this for my 7 month old manx mix kitten (9 lb) who developed "rodent ulcers." Her top lips (from lips to under all of her whiskers) swelled and became crusty and then they cracked and bled. She also had a few lesions develop on her lips. The pad on a front dew claw also cracked and swelled. Antibiotics didn't help at all and the vet told me they couldn't do anything for her besides give her antibiotics and steroids. She tested negative for Feline L and FIV, so we concluded it was an allergy. All of her plastic bowls were changed to stainless, and she was already eating a grain free diet. All of that change did not halt it, so I wanted to try something else.

I gave her 5-6 drops of Thuja twice a day for 3-4 days, and I've been giving it to her once a day for the last 12 days. Her face dried out and stopped getting worse immediately, but took around 2 weeks to clear up entirely (there was a lot of cracked skin that had to peel off on it's own). The swelling on her paw went down by half within 24 hrs, and the rest in about a week. The crack is still healing, and I'll continue to give this to her until it's healed a bit more.

I love this product, I would not hesitate to buy it again. The only thing I don't like is that I needed a small amount to fix the problem, and I hope what's left over won't go bad just in case I need it again.

      Comments about Newton Homeopathics Thuja:

I am using Thuja on my Russian Blue male cat who has had recurring rodent ulcers on his upper and lower lip and one just lately inside his mouth on his cheek. Was using Clavamox perscribed by the vet every time the ulcers appeared and they recommended steroids which was a no no because the Clavamox was not helping as much anymore. These ulcers seem to be allergic reactions and some stress. Thuja has taken about 2 weeks to work but the ulcers on his lip and inside his mouth are 99% gone right now and most likely will be cleared up in a few days. This remedy has been a great treatment for his rodent ulcers! I put the drops in his moist food once a day so he does not notice the taste. Really great stuff!

            Comments about Newton Homeopathics Thuja:

My pit bull visited her veterinarian for her updates of vaccinations. Shortly after she developed a growth just outside of her mouth on the right side. I was totally concerned as I had never seen such a thing. We got another veterinarian appointment to see what was going on. He said that some dogs just get these and we had several choices. Wait to see if it went away ( more may develop) or surgically remove it. We opted for the surgery. The evening before surgery it started to bleed so we were glad we had chosen that option. Things went well and we were happy until it returned in the exact same place. I was mortified. I started my own research and discovered that it often is a result of having vaccinations. The immune system is suppressed and the warts come out. In my research I found this product and decided to give it a try along with the powdered Immunity daily pet supplement. The result was wonderful. Within 1 week it was 80% gone. Just a small bump remained. We continued to give her the Thuja and Immunity supplement until it was 100% gone. Probably 1 and 1/2 more weeks. For added security that her immune system is back to normal we are continuing to give her the Immune supplement. I am thrilled that these products have worked so well. I would recommend it 100%. I am going to give the information to our Veterinarian. I am sure he will be surprised and pass the information along when he sees such a thing again.

              Comments about Newton Homeopathics Thuja:

My 1-year old rescue (60 lbs) picked up a mild case of canine warts, and I'm assuming he got it from day care. I noticed a small wart on the inside of his lip and decided to wait a week or so to see if it would go away on its own. Within 10 days it grew to the size of a raisin and a smaller cluster started growing right next to it. I started doing some research and found a couple different remedies to try - l-lysine and thuja. Some dog owners did one or the other with success, so I started him on one 500-mg tablet of l-lysine, twice a day and ordered both the liquid and pellet form of the thuja. I started giving him 5-6 drops of thuja with breakfast and dinner, along with the l-lysine. For about 10 days it seemed like nothing was happening, then all of the sudden, the wart started shrinking and within another week, the wart was all but gone. It's been almost a month since I started the l-lysine/thuja mix and he is wart free. I will probably keep this up another two weeks to make sure, but I am very, very pleased with the results.

              Comments about Newton Homeopathics Thuja:

I purchased the drops and the pellets, the pellets are very small so it was easy to administer. My dog had a very noticble wart near his nose, took him to the vet, said it was a dog virus probably ggot this from being at the dog park. Saif it would go away on its own, my dog is 19 months old and the immune system usually stops these warts. Under 2 years and old senior dogs are more prone to this. I tried administering 6 pills once and waited 2 weeks, nothing changed and then I gave him 5 or 6 after the two weeks and itis still there but looks a little smaller.....my dog is a GSD and 145 lbs.

                Comments about Newton Homeopathics Thuja:

My 12 year old golden retriever mix started getting cauliflower wart type growthes inside his cheek. They rapidly spread from as far down his throat as I could see to his entire check and gums all the way to his teeth. The vet was NO help and only suggested a $400 biopsy before he would even treat him. Our options didn't look good. I researched what these growths were like I was in Vet School, and figured out that it was a severe case of COPV. I bought 6 bottles of this medication and over the course of 2 months, we gradually began to see improvements. I read that the warts could be "crushed", and we did that when it seemed like they were "rotting". I also filled my first empty bottle with a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water and squirted that on the warts daily. It is now 2 and a half months after first using the product, and our dog is almost 100% better. I seriously thought we would lose him, it was horrible and I knew he was having trouble eating and breathing. His whole right side of his muzzle was extended and the warts hung outside of his mouth. It was disgusting, and his breath was horrid. I can't say enough about this product. It saved my dogs life.
