My cat had developed crystals in his urine. This is a dangerous and expensive condition to treat. I was looking for something that would help to keep this from happening again. I added the product to his wet food and he ate it all - usually if he suspects something different has been put in his food, he will not eat it. I am using this product along with changing his food and I am only using distilled water for his drinking water. I am hoping these changes, along with your product will help to prevent further recurrences. I have been using the product for over a month now and everything is going well!

I have a cat that is pron to UTI's and always taking her to the Vet for antibiotics and sometimes they don't work. This product so far is working great. I mixed it in her food for 2 weeks and she stopped setting in the litter box. Which is always her way of saying something is not right! Worth a try!!!!

I have a 14 year-old cat. He was pre-diabetic for several years, on a high protein diet. A couple of years ago, he developed dandruff/dry skin and coarse fur, as a result of inflammation/mild dehydration. His blood glucose levels had gone up enough so that he began needing a low dose of insulin daily. After being on this product for a few weeks,I saw a huge improvement in his fur - it is soft and dandruff-free now, indicative of the fact that his blood glucose levels have gone down. He now only needs insulin -1/4 to a 1/2 a unit - at the most about once a week. My vet says she thinks it is largely due to the anti-inflammatory action of this powder. (I have a home testing kit with which I check his levels every few days.) FYI: my physical therapist recommended I also increase the amount of brushing and massage I do on him; she told me it helps with the flow of natural insulin in the body.

My 13 year old Cocker Spaniel had been getting frequent UTIs awhile back. She would go to the vet and get medication, but the problem would always return a few weeks later. After a few costly vet visits, I tried this product, which is inexpensive and seems to do a great job of preventing the recurrence of her infections. I had run out a couple years ago and didn't reorder, and she didn't get another UTI until a few months ago, but after the last one I've decided I'm just going to keep her on the stuff for the rest of her years.

I think this is probably a very good product. I only marked it as average because it didn't do what I had hoped. My dog keeps getting infections in the sheath -- they are not in the urinary tract or bladder. My vet thought that a product that would neutralize the urine might help. I'm sure this is a good product, but after 2 weeks of use, the infection has returned. I would still try it if your dog has any urine-related issues.

I purchased this product because my lovely, year-old calico is constantly battling UTIs even while being on a high-quality canned food diet. Previous reviews have been helpful but no one mentioned that a cat may experience stomach upset. After administering a full dose as prescribed, my pet became violently ill. The next day I cut the dose in half and she still vomited. This is my last attempt at using this product and am now sprinkling a very, very small amount of the powder on her wet food. So far, so good. Hopefully she will benefit from such small doses and I will only give it to her for the recommended three weeks. I strongly suggest introducing this product slowly to your pet to make sure that they can safely tolerate and benefit from the treatment (a caveat implied on this website but should be included on the jar). I am giving this product the benefit of the doubt by giving it three 'paws' because it seems to have helped so many other pets and includes very effective ingredients.

this product really works. The only drawback is that it should have a flavor favorable to an animal. Can't figure out why the manufacturing companies just can't put in a natural flavor. I will use it again & again, I just have to mix in canned food to disquise the taste. Kind of a pain.

I love this product. The UTI is gone. No more urgency and clear urine. She is taking twice a week and is working perfectly. I mix the powder with her favorite treat with water and she loves it. It is wonderful.
