My veterinarian tells me not to change to senior dog foods and both my dogs, one 7 y.o. the other 12 y.o., are doing very well with the lamb Taste of the Wild dry dog food. I will add that both dogs get daily workouts for exercise and they are loving it!

Comments about Taste of the Wild Grain-Free Dry Dog Food:

I've had every dog breed and size imaginable and fed them all different kinds of food. When I met my fiancé, five years ago, he had a 4 year old German shepherd that couldn't seem to put weight on. I realized that he wasn't eating quality food, so We switched to a better food. After a couple of weeks, he was finally able put some weight on him. Getting a better quality food made a huge difference! After losing Zeus a couple of years ago, we got a pair of 7 week old German shepherd puppies in October. I did a little research to find a quality dog food for them, and this brand resonated with me. I've fed Nike and Maverick the High Prairie puppy formula since day 1, and they've grown into beautiful, healthy pups. Anytime anyone meets them, I'm complimented on how beautiful their coats are. They are a healthy 50 lbs at 5 months old, and I never have any issues with them eating. Couldn't find a better food if I tried. We are life-long customers now!

Comments about Taste of the Wild Grain-Free Dry Dog Food:

We got our chi mix puppy at 8 weeks old..and he had been on Pedigree Puppy. Produces TONS of poop. Poops 4-5 times a day even at now--5 months old and 11 pounds. Researched better foods. Decided on TOTW Puppy Food....Bison recipe. Got it home three days ago---and began the switch...added about 25% new to 75% old. He picks all the TOTW out and spits it on the floor. Eats the Pedigree. Have now begun adding a little chicken broth to the mixed food..and letting it soak in. Will eat some of it like that, but takes a LONG time. He used to gobble up the Pedigree when it was alone. Will give it a few more days to see how it goes. Would love a healthy food that my puppy loves to eat. Not seeing that so far. Results so far...no..would not recommend. Maybe I just have a picky pup.

Comments about Taste of the Wild Grain-Free Dry Dog Food:

This is the best overall dog food for your dog for the price you get it at, better than Blue buffalo or any other dog food I have used with my pups. Best food = best poops, expressed glands, happy pup, overall healthy pup, soft and thick coat, you will never have to force your dog to eat it, they love the taste. They offer many varieties with different amounts of fiber or protein and various vitamins depending on what you're trying to focus on for your pup. I switch between a few to keep a good variety of different vitamins and minerals.
