Milk Thistle Seed Extract (Silybum Marianum)
Used since ancient Roman times, milk thistle seed is the best-known and most-used herb for maintaining and supporting the liver. Milk thistle is one of the few traditionally used herbs that has been widely accepted by conventional science to have significant medicinal value. Milk thistle generally supports the immune system through its powerful antioxidant, free-radical scavenging action, as well as direct effects on immune cells. Milk thistle reaches high levels in the liver, but is also helpful for other healthy inflammatory response associated with certain conditions.
