Moody Pet was founded in 1999 by Michele LeVan, who left a successful music industry career to follow her true passion for animals. Growing up surrounded by a diverse menagerie and with a family that regularly rescued animals, Michele designed whimsical pet products that bring joy and laughter. The brand’s debut creations were the Moody Dog and Moody Cat “mood” collars—think 1970s mood rings for pets—hence the name Moody Pet. From those early days, the company expanded into a full line of entertaining, humor-driven toys rooted in a belief that fun is a key part of pet ownership.}
